  • 1.- Identity of the responsible party

    In terms of the provisions of articles 8, 15, 16, 36, and other related and applicable provisions of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, Cidi Riviera Maya S.A de C.V. (hereinafter Hotel Bosque Caribe), located at Calle 20 Norte L4 between 5a Ave and 10a, 5 Av. Nte., 77710 Playa del Carmen, Q.R., informs you that it is responsible for the obtaining and processing of your personal data obtained due to the relationship you have with us.

  • 2.- Personal data

    For the purposes of the above, the following are considered necessary personal data to provide our service:

    a) Identification data: name(s), surname(s), data and/or official identification, address, home, cell and/or work phone number, signature, email, age, date of birth, nationality, name, and data of third parties.

    b) Financial data: payment method, name of cardholder, credit card number, expiration date, security code number, copy of credit card

    c) Billing data: name or company name, RFC, fiscal address

    d) Preference data: Related to the room, required services and/or reason, travel preferences, hobbies, and opinions.


    The way we obtain your personal data is through the following means:

    a) In person when you provide them to one of our employees, filling out forms when you check-in with us, or at our reception. Likewise, when you answer satisfaction and service opinion questionnaires.

    b) Directly, when you provide them to us by phone or through electronic means, by filling out the reservation form on our Website, interacting on our social networks, or by email.

    c) Indirectly, when you provide your personal data to one of our suppliers, such as travel agencies, tour operators, or third parties that provide us with databases, which support us during the reservation and marketing processes.


    Hotel Bosque Caribe does not obtain personal data that is considered by the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties as sensitive personal data. For these purposes, sensitive personal data is understood to be personal data that affects the most intimate sphere of its owner, or whose misuse may give rise to discrimination or entail a serious risk to the owner.


  • 3.- Purpose

    The data provided will be used, as appropriate, for the following purposes:

    - Reception and registration of guests.
    - Provision of lodging services.
    - Provision of restaurant services.
    - Provision of tourism and commercial services in general.
    - Billing.
    - Carrying out charges to credit and/or debit cards for services provided by the Hotel
    Evaluations and satisfaction surveys of services.
    - Sending promotional information, either in documentary or electronic form, related to the products and services offered by the Hotel.

    In general, for the provision of the services offered by Hotel Bosque Caribe. 

  • 4.- Transfer of personal data

    Hotel Bosque Caribe will not commercialize your personal data with third parties, and they will be collected for the purpose of providing you with its services and carrying out the processes described in the previous numeral. However, you are informed that the personal data collected may be transferred to entities of the same group of interest of the company or those with which it has entered into hotel operation, franchise or similar contracts, and/or third parties, national or foreign, only for the purpose of complying with the purposes for which such personal data have been provided.

  • 5.- Access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition rights

    In accordance with article 28 of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, you have the right to access, rectify, cancel or oppose the use of your personal data (ARCO Rights), which are explained briefly below:


    • Access: Right to access the personal data we have of you, as well as to obtain information on the conditions under which your data is being processed.
    • Rectification: Right to rectify your personal data in case it is inaccurate or incomplete.
    • Cancellation: Right to request the cancellation of your personal data when you consider that it is not being processed according to the principles and duties established in the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and its Regulation.
    • Opposition to the use: Right to oppose the use of your personal data, when there is a legitimate reason or to prevent your data from being used for specific purposes.

  • 6.- Security of your personal data

    The personal data collected by Hotel Bosque Caribe will be properly safeguarded according to the security, administrative, technical and physical provisions established by the Law and the Regulation to protect such data from damage, loss, alteration, destruction or unauthorized use, access or disclosure, and will be processed under the principles of legality, consent, information, quality, purpose, loyalty, proportionality, responsibility, security and confidentiality provided by such Law and Regulation.

  • 7.- Electronic media and cookies

    A cookie is a data file that is stored on the hard drive of your computer or electronic communication device that you use when browsing our website, which allows exchanging status information between our site and your browser. The status information may reveal session identification means, authentication or user preferences, as well as any data stored by the browser regarding the website.

    If Hotel Bosque Caribe does not receive your express opposition to the processing of your personal data in the manner and terms described above, it will be understood that you have given your consent.
